T-611/2/3 DISSOLVED OXYGEN
CHECKS AND CALIBRATIONS
 

To get the most out of the T-611, T-612 and T-613 Water Quality Analyser dissolved oxygen sensor users should take a couple of minutes to carry out a 100% point calibration. 

This calibration is extremely simple and takes only a couple of minutes. The procedure is explained in the Operator's Manual. 

It is simplified by being able to hold the probe in air for several minutes for a spot check that is accurate to within ±2% for the 100% point. For a more precise calibration, saturated water should be used. 

This is so simple that users should do this as often as possible and particularly after the unit has been transported by air freight where large changes in ambient air pressure may have occured. 

The 0% point is very stable and it is only necessary to carry out this calibration very infrequently. 

Users are also reminded that whenever either the membrane or electrolyte or the whole sensor is replaced, about 2 hours should be allowed for the dissolved oxygen readings to stabilise. After this it should be calibrated and thereafter it will operate as normal with its normal response time.
